Welcome at DRUPA 2008

During DRUPA 2008, JAMES BURN will celebrate its first anniversary as independent company! For this occasion, we are particularly pleased and proud to announce that JAMES BURN will show no less than 7 new punching or Wire-O® closing machines developed during the last 12 months.

1. The Tri-O range: made of now 3 different table-top manual combined punching and closing machines, the Tri-O 34, the Tri-O 50 and the Tri-O 50 Cal, this range features the "3 functions in ONE" concept.

Each machine of the Tri-O range comes with a double punching pattern (3:1 and 2:1 round for the Tri-O 34 and 50 / 3:1 round continuous and 3:1 round with thumb cut for the Tri-O 50 Cal) and a closing station allowing to close all Wire-O® diameters from n°3 to n°20.

All pins can be easily removed and the large handle allows to punch bytes of up to 15 sheets.

2. The EB 3500 electric Wire-O® closer: derivative from the EB5000/7000 range, this last version which will be shown for the first time at DRUPA inherits from the sturdiness of its predecessors. This table-top closer is mostly designed for copy finishing applications where space is a constraint to Wire-O® bind A4 or smaller documents from cut lengths with the guaranty of a consistent closing quality.

3. The P 3400 electric punch: this semi automatic electric punch features one of the most recent innovations by JAMES BURN. Compact and very robust, it requires very little space.

Its reception module associated with its unique punching and ejection process in ONE operation provides one of the highest output in its category.

All pins of its heavy duty interchangeable tools (taking bytes of 30 sheets) can be easily removed to accommodate all possible formats up to 340mm.

The P 3400 is the right machine for all intensive punching applications when automatic equipment are not appropriate.

4. The P 500 electric punch: last born from the range of the Lhermite® electric punching machines, this unit will be shown for the first time at DRUPA.

The P 500 is a very versatile punch which will be suitable for most of the punching applications thanks to its punching capacity (2.5mm) and its punching width (500mm) as well as its interchangeable heavy duty tools which all pins can be easily removed.

5. The AUTO Wob 5000 fully automatic electric Wire-O® closer: Unveiled as an advanced showing during DRUPA, this automatic and modular machine features a concentrate of innovative solutions to satisfy the requirements in terms of quality, versatility, flexibility, and productivity for On Demand Wire-O® bound document finishing applications.

Wire insertion will be fully automatic. Like for the WOB 3500, it won't require any closing tool and all size and format adjustments will be accessible and controlled by a tactile keyboard.

Upgradeable, it will be made of "plug & play" modular elements which from a central Wire-O® automatic closing element will allow to turn this machine into a mini "on line solution" with a feeding station and a reception conveyor.

As you can see, already after just one year JAMES BURN is coming with new ambitions!

Beside those new additions to our range, we will be showing machines at DRUPA which have contributed to the name of JAMES BURN and Lhermite® such as the P & PB 3300, the Docupunch, the Alphadoc, the WOB 3500, the BB50H and the EX 610 Duplex which is a variant of the well known EX machine equipped with a board feeder and a dual reception system which allows to accommodate standard paper on the high pile reception and thick cardboard covers on a flat reception.
